ROCKVILLE, Md. - A Delaware Valley HVAC contractor, E.B. O’Reilly Servicing Corp. of Philadelphia, won the Mechanical Service Contractors of America’s (MSCA’s) Shooting STAR Award at the MSCA Star Summit in Chicago.

The summit hosted members of MSCA who have completed a rigorous certification program and have been designated as MSCA STAR Qualified. O’Reilly’s award represents the first time the Shooting STAR has been awarded, said Russ Borst, chairman of the MSCA Board of Managers.

“The winner of the award did a great job in utilizing all the tools and resources made available to them to help promote their STAR status,” Borst said. “The purpose of this new award is to recognize an MSCA STAR who excelled in their marketing efforts and E.B. O’Reilly Servicing Corp. did just that.”

Borst went on to explain how E.B. O’Reilly has incorporated their MSCA STAR qualification into every facet of their service operation and put their STAR designation to work for them in the most visible and positive way. E.B. O'Reilly has been an MSCA member since 1992. The company received the MSCA STAR qualification in 2007.

The MSCA STAR Summit was attended by 45 members whose companies met the qualification criteria for MSCA STAR status. The STAR designation indicates that these contractors have passed an extensive, independently-verified screening of core competencies, including a skilled workforce and outstanding customer service.
