ATLANTA - In addition to the existing builder rebate that Rheem offers for HVAC and water heating products, a second rebate will be given when builders buy both HVAC and water heating products at the same time. From now until May 31, 2008, homebuilders can receive these rebates through the Builder Resources Inc. (BRI) incentive program.

According to the company, the aggressive promotion marks the first of many aimed at helping builders capitalize on the wide array of home comfort product solutions Rheem can now offer as a result of the reorganization of the Heating & Cooling and the Water Heating Divisions.

“Given today’s economic conditions, we’re pleased to provide this option for builders to purchase quality, dependable whole-house Rheem and Ruud products, while also receiving greater payback in the process,” said Mike Barnes, national accounts manager, Rheem Manufacturing Co.

“What’s more, as the only manufacturer that offers both HVAC and water heating products, builders can utilize Rheem as a singular resource for their home comfort system needs.”

The promotion enhances the current BRI incentive program that provides a cash rebate for builders who purchase indoor and outdoor HVAC system components and tank, tankless or solar water heating products. During the special promotion, BRI will disburse an extra cash payment of up to $10, on top of the total rebate amount received, based on the number of products purchased. All Rheem and Ruud home comfort products qualify for the promotion.
