Takagi: Tankless Water Heater

The T-M50 tankless water heater uses two heavy-duty heat exchangers to produce up to 380,000 Btuh. Features include 80 percent thermal efficiency for both natural gas and liquid propane. The water heater starts heating water at 1/2 gallon per minute (gpm), but can produce hot water at a maximum flow rate of up to 14.5 gpm. Up to four units can be connected together without an additional control box, but 10 can be linked with a single main control system. The output temperature can be adjusted from 100° to 185°F. It can be used in large use applications like commercial water heating, hydronic systems, radiant floor heating, and combined domestic water and heating water systems, as well as in large homes.
