FORT SMITH, Ark. - The Noland Co., a long-time Ruud
distributor, has decided to no longer represent the Ruud heating and cooling
product line. As a result, Ruud management has committed all necessary
resources to ensuring a smooth transition for Ruud dealers.
According to the company, Ruud remains fully committed to
independent distribution and is working to put in place reliable new Ruud
distribution with full sales and service capabilities in markets affected by
the Noland decision. Ruud management’s primary goal is to ensure that Noland’s
decision has little-to-no effect on daily Ruud contractor operations or their
ability to continue with reliable sales and service to their customers.
Bill Hanesworth, vice president and general manager of the
Ruud Air Conditioning Division, communicated with dealers, telling them that
Ruud remains “fully committed to the support of our contractor network. We
recognize that establishing strong, lasting partnerships is a market-winning
formula and will consistently produce successful results.”
The company has established a special toll-free Ruud
Customer Assistance Hotline to answer questions, provide service support, and
source Ruud products should immediate local availability be a problem. A Ruud
contractor “Transition Team” has also been assembled to provide Ruud
contractors with prioritized assistance.
