The American Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Council has unveiled a search engine on its Website that allows certificants full access to its database of registered recertification activities. The engine allows certificants to search for recertification credit (RC) opportunities by a variety of categories including course location, course date, course name, provider name, or course RC value. A zip code search returns all qualifying courses within a 100-mile radius of the zip code entered.

“We were surprised by a recent survey showing that a high percentage of professionals in our industry still travel extensively to earn RCs,” said Charlie Wiles, IAQ Council executive director. “Additionally, most have never taken advantage of online activities for professional development.

“With the Council’s new search engine, these individuals can quickly locate cost effective opportunities, whether in their own cities or online. We hope this will help reduce the need for expensive travel to maintain the industry’s premier certifications.”

The search engine may be accessed from the IAQ Council Website, www.iaqcouncil.org.
