SENECA FALLS, N.Y. - Goulds Pumps, a brand of ITT Corp., awarded 14, $1,000 scholarships to students from the United States and Canada. All 14 recipients of the Goulds scholarship are children of Goulds Professional Dealers Association (GPDA) members and their employees. This year’s scholarship recipients include Derek Hazard, William Ehrman, Heather Motto, Sara Shelton, Stephanie Mae Iselt, Ashley Stock, Preston Jernigan, Hilary Fabich, Elizabeth Martinez, Angela Edwards, Marsena Henderson, Melinda Pomeroy, and Cason Warner.

“We started the GPDA Scholarship Program to assist the children of our Goulds Pumps family towards obtaining a college education,” said Dennis Coggins, vice president, U.S. Sales - ITT Residential and Commercial Water. “By helping our dealers’ children achieve their professional dreams and goals, we ensure the future of our industry.”

The program has run for eight years, awarding 92 scholarships based on demonstrated academic achievement and potential, community service, and leadership.

“We are proud of the 14 young people chosen as recipients this year. I hope they will follow in the footsteps of many previous GPDA scholarship winners who have gone on to promising careers,” said Coggins. “We are proud to assist them in helping them pursue their dreams.”
