Totaline Tears Up Track With Racecar Contest
July 2, 2007
John Monachelli (center) of Colorado Sheet Metal was one of the first-prize winners of the first quarter Totaline Racing Challenge drawing. The contest will continue in the second quarter. For every $1,000 worth of Totaline® parts that account holders buy in 2007, they get an automatic entry to win a Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure - the chance to drive a real stock car on a real track. Monachelli reached a top speed of 176 mph during his live racing adventure. Twenty-eight first-prize winners will win a Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure. Fifty-six second-prize winners will receive Totaline’s fully loaded “Tools Of The Trade” toolboxes. Third-prize winners will get a little relief at the gas pumps: 140 gas cards worth $250 each are up for grabs. Also as part of the racing promotion, customers can get a free Totaline Racing Challenge hat.
“The Totaline Racing Challenge benefits distributors and customers,” said Mike Dziok, Totaline spokesman and marketing manager. “It reminds people that when you buy all your parts at one place - Totaline - you have the added value of being entered to win the driving experience of a lifetime or other great prizes. Basically, it helps drive traffic and build relationships among distributors, dealers, and contractors who are out there every day.”
