The Serenity Series crescent cuber ice machine KMS-1230MLH uses a remote condenser and compressor stationed outside the kitchen and away from customer usage. The unit (30 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 28 inches high) can be installed on top of a beverage dispenser, producing up to 1,126 pounds of ice in a 24-hour period. A stainless steel evaporator allows individual crescent cubes to be formed on both sides of the evaporator. The EverCheck® alert system sounds an audible warning when the machine is in need of service. The CycleSaver® design allows the cuber to produce the same quantity of ice in about half the cycles of the other ice machines, the company says. The unit has HoshiGuard antimicrobial agent within the ice-making zone to inhibit the growth of mildew, mold, and other microorganisms that can cause odors, discoloration, and deterioration of products. The removable water tank allows technicians easy access to the beverage, ice dispenser, and/or storage bin area when cleaning or removing parts.
