The KMS-750MLH Serenity series crescent cube ice machine is 75 percent quieter than traditional remote units, according to the manufacturer. The unit utilizes a remote condenser and compressor stationed outside the kitchen and away from customer usage. The ice machine produces up to 770 pounds of ice per 24 hours. A stainless steel evaporator allows for individual crescent cubes to be formed on both sides of the evaporator. The EverCheck® alert system sounds an audible warning when the machine is in need of service. The CycleSaver® design allows the cuber to produce the same quantity of ice in about one-half the cycles of the other ice machines, says the company. HoshiGuard antimicrobial agent within the ice making zone inhibits the growth of bacteria, mildew, mold, and other microorganisms that can cause odors, discoloration, and deterioration of products. The unit can be installed on top of a beverage dispenser.
