COLUMBUS, Ohio - Emerson Network Power has announced the 2007 webcast schedule for its Business Continuity Leadership Series. The series offers information to help IT and data center managers maintain and improve IT system availability while optimizing total ownership costs.

The Business Continuity Leadership Series, sponsored by Emerson Network Power and Liebert, brings together leading authorities on business continuity to address key issues facing IT and business management. Webcast topics include “Developing Cooling Strategies to Support New Technology Adoption” (June 6) and “Lean and Green: How Efficiency Improvements, Virtualization and Infrastructure Optimization Will Solve the Data Center Energy Crisis” (Sept. 5).

“The IT infrastructure has evolved into an interdependent business-critical network that includes data, applications, engineering systems, storage, and servers. A failure or interruption at any point along the network can impact the entire operation - and have serious consequences for the business,” said Bob Bauer, Emerson group vice president and Liebert Worldwide president. “The Emerson Business Continuity Leadership Series gives organizations the information they need to assess their current systems and identify gaps that could affect the availability of the processes and information they depend on.”
