The HE-AB Series of forced-draft, gas-fired flexible water tube water boilers have an efficiency of 85 percent. According to the manufacturer, the high-combustion efficiency results from a uniquely designed, integrated, and extended-surface heat extractor. The flexible water tube provides for fast internal circulation for maximum heat transfer and operating efficiency. The flexibility of the bent water tube design eliminates all possible damage from thermal shock and from stresses caused by poor or unequal internal circulation. This is particularly important with forced hot water heating systems designed for higher temperatures and greater temperature drops, stated the company. The boiler is available in six models with inputs from 900 to 3,000 MBtuh.
