DALLAS, TX — TDIndustries, a Dallas-based $205 million mechanical contractor “moved up” to 4th place onFortune Magazine’s“100 Best Companies to Work For” in 2001. The employee-owned company was ranked sixth the previous year.

The mechanical contractor installs hvac, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial, industrial, and multifamily residential buildings, primarily through general contractors. TDIndustries also operates, maintains, repairs, and upgrades mechanical systems.

The company offers services nationwide, but operates primarily in Texas for companies such as Bank One, Hitachi, and J.C. Penney. The father of ceo Jack Lowe Jr. founded TDIndustries in 1946.
