IRVINE, Calif. - The Linc Group LLC (TLG), a provider of technical facilities services, announced that it has acquired BMAR & Associates Inc. (BMAR), an ISO-certified facility services company focused on the federal government and health care sectors.

Founded in 1991, BMAR employs more than 900 service, construction, and business personnel and specializes in operations and maintenance support with engineering and construction services. Headquartered in Hopkinsville, Ky., BMAR offers a range of facility solutions for all types of environments within military service, including the Army's and Navy's largest bases, and medical facilities around the world. BMAR will become part of TLG's Linc Facility Services (LFS) business unit.

"BMAR is a reputable organization with a long history of professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction," said Phil Rogers, president and CEO of LFS. "Its management team and corporate culture complement TLG's business model perfectly, and we look forward to combining our efforts and expertise. The union will expand the breadth of services we can offer our clients, as well as broaden our reach into critical new vertical markets. It is truly a win-win situation for both organizations."

"We're pleased to be part of the TLG family," said BMAR Co-Founder and President Terry Hamby and Co-Founder and Vice President Judy Hamby. "We started the company to provide quality service to the Department of Defense (DOD) and, from its inception, it has been organized to provide efficient and effective management of our contracts. Quality management is core to TLG's competency, offering total alignment with our business philosophy. Through this acquisition, we hope to improve and grow the organization while taking it to the next level - a level only TLG can help us achieve with its world-class business infrastructure."

Having spent 33 years in the Army and earning the rank of Major General, TLG's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer David Whaley knows the federal sector well and said he is eager to facilitate aggressive growth with BMAR.

According to Whaley, "The BMAR acquisition represents a major milestone in TLG's operational strategy to broaden its geographic coverage, provide service to new vertical markets, and add new complementary service offerings. BMAR provides TLG with an ideal platform for entering the federal sector because of its brand equity, history of superior customer relations, and well-seasoned management team."
