March 12, 2003: Pentagon Memorial To Include PHCC’s Norma Khan

FALLS CHURCH, Va. — The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association (PHCC) reports that former PHCC staff member Norma Khan will be one of 184 Pentagon crash victims from the Sept. 11 attack commemorated at a memorial to be constructed at the Pentagon.

The memorial design, called “Light Benches,” was introduced last week. It includes 184 16-foot-long illuminated benches, arranged in parallel rows. Each bench will be linked to an individual, whose name is to appear on the narrow end face of the bench. The rows will be sequenced by year of birth, from ages 3 to 71.
