GAITHERSBURG, Md. - Matt Hahr has been installed as the 2007 president of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Metropolitan Washington (MCAMW). He is the vice president of John J. Kirlin LLC, a full-service mechanical and fabrication contractor that specializes in large HVAC and plumbing construction jobs.

The contracting company, founded in 1960, operates offices in Florida, Maryland, and North Carolina.

Hahr has been active in MCAMW since 1995. He has served on the Plumbers Local 5 Apprenticeship Committee and MCAMW Career Development/Student Chapter Committee. He has been a member of the MCAMW board since 2003. He also serves on the MCAA Management Methods Committee and the Steamfitters Local 602 Pension Fund.
