CHANTILLY, VA — To help educate homeowners on what to look for when choosing a home comfort system, the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA) has published “The Total Comfort System Story” on its website.

According to the association, good heating and cooling, with the right type of system, is more important than the average homebuyer realizes. “The Total Comfort System Story,” now available at www.smacna.org/totalcomfort, was developed to help homeowners understand the major types of heating and cooling systems in common use today and enable them to be better prepared to identify a quality “total comfort system,” as well as choose a reliable “total comfort system” contractor.

SMACNA is an international trade association representing 4,500 contributing contractor firms.
