SAN FRANCISCO, CA — For homeowners who like to “do it themselves,” there is a new website that provides service and information just like the traditional corner hardware store — only this store never closes. Not surprisingly, the website is named provides visitors with home improvement tips, “how-to” instructions, product price comparisons, and an online purchasing platform. Some of the website features include customer surveys about the right products for the job; a “Timesaver” guide to help visitors navigate the site; new product information; and online chats with home improvement professionals. “ has placed customers at the center of our business and created a site to meet their every home improvement interest and need,” said Alice Hill, executive vice-president.
