This course will prepare you for the Environmental
Protection Agency’s (EPA’s_ approved Core, Type I, Type II, and Type III
Refrigerant Recovery Certification Exams. The course is conducted prior to the
test and reviews the requirements set forth by the EPA Code of Federal
Regulations as prescribed under section 608 of the clean Air Act as it relates
to refrigerant recovery/recycling of CFCs.
The Closed book exam consists of four separate sections with
25 questions per exam. To receive Type I, Type II, or Type III certification,
one must also pass the Core section. An individual must correctly answer 18 of
the 25 questions to pass any individual exam.
Successfully completing all four levels entitles the person
to receive Universal Certification.
