March 24, 2008

The BTU 2000+ gas analyzer can be used for monitoring oxygen (O2), carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), excess air, and efficiency in a residential or light commercial boiler/burner. According to the manufacturer, the unit is seven instruments — portable gas and combustion analyzer, CO leak detector, built-in thermometer (flue and ambient temperature), built-in manometer (differential pressure meter), pipe work leak and pressure decay tester, combustible gas leak detector, and ionization/current flame tester burner — in one tool. The unit has a built-in printer (nonthermal), a 250 internal test memory, and PC capabilities.
