• Regal Beloit Corp. (Beloit, Wis.) reported third quarter ended Sept. 26 net sales of $465.2 million, a 25 percent decrease as compared to the third quarter of 2008.
• A.O. Smith Corp. (Milwaukee) declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 19.5 cents per share on common stock and Class A common stock. The dividend is payable on Nov. 16 to shareholders of record Oct. 30.
