[Editor’s note: This letter is in response to Mark Skaer’s blog “Skaer-Tactics: What am I Missing Here?” Dec. 1.] Your proposal to the Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo) under the conditions stated in your article was appropriate, but I surmise unexpected. As a follow-up to reintroduce your proposal, please allow me to suggest a possible approach: If you are able to identify all of the members, send each an individual letter or e-mail requesting how they voted and the reasons for their vote. Additionally, document why you think it is a good idea. Also indicate that they not need provide their identification on their response.
Maybe by now they have given your proposal more thought. If not, your follow-up might create further reflection. Don’t just drop your idea. Never give up.
